InfoAnywhere automates a lot of communication between employees. Email notifications are generated automatically throughout the use of the system. These notifications are used to notify other coordinators of any important changes or notes regarding any of the clients for which they are responsible. For example: Mrs. Jones has just phoned into the office to talk to Mary, her husband's volunteer coordinator. She bears the bad news that Mr. Jones has died. Mary is not in the office to speak to Mrs. Jones, so the administrative assistant who answered the phone marks the client as deceased in the InfoAnywhere system. Mary is automatically emailed by the system letting her know that Mr. Jones has died. The admin assistant does not have to talk to Mary at all about this call. Of course, the assistant could also write a note with any other information she may want the coordinator to know, which would be automatically emailed to the coordinator as well. .
